This Privacy Policy applies to information collected by Isha Nepal through www.isha.sadhguru.org (hereinafter referred to as “Organization“). 

Our Organization is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organization that offers tools for the physical, mental and inner well-being of human beings across the world. Everything that we do is guided by these values, including the ways in which we collect, protect and use data. As a part of effectively offering these tools to Users, We obtain some of the User’s data. 

Our Organization is committed to ensuring the security and protection of the personal data provided by the Users of our website, and to providing a compliant and consistent approach to data protection. We will only process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws. The protection afforded by this Policy applies to all Users, irrespective of their nationality, or place of residence, in relation to the processing and profiling of their personal data. Amongst other information, our Organization collects the following data:

  • Phone Number / WhatsApp number

You directly provide our Organization with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data every time you:

  • Complete online forms and sign up for any particular program/offering/event that we offer;

  • Contact us offline, for example by telephone, SMS, email or post.

  • Provide us your data through physical media like registration form, donation form, application form etc.;

  • Use or view our website (via your browser’s cookies);

  • Contribute to any of our projects;

  • Choose to support Isha’s initiatives as a volunteer or donor.

  • Provide you with information regarding programs, events and sadhana support etc., that you have requested and/ or signed up for;

  • Establish contact with you through phone calls, WhatsApp messages, email and other social media platforms that you have consented to, to provide support in the programs, practices and processes that you have registered for.

  • Monitor, measure, improve and protect our content, website, and services and provide an enhanced and personalized user experience for you;

  • Respond to your queries and resolve complaints;

  • Provide any of your information that we are required to submit in order to comply with our regulatory or legal obligations;

  • Detect, prevent, investigate or provide remedy for criminal, illegal or prohibited activities;

Our Organization uses various technological and procedural security measures to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the personal information that we collect. We also have implemented reasonable security measures in an effort to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Our Organization will only retain your personal data following your application for a period of time depending on the category of data and the purposes for which we hold it.  We will only retain your data after this time if we are required to do so to comply with the applicable laws of Nepal.

The right to object to processing: You have the right to object to our Organization’s processing of your personal data, under certain reasonable conditions. 

The right to data portability: You have the right to request that our Organization transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain reasonable conditions. 

Our Organization makes use of third-party services as well as offers services related to storage of user data, user authentication, user consent and user profile management.

Terms & Conditions


These Terms and Conditions (“Terms & Conditions/Terms”) are legally binding between you ("You") and Isha Nepal ("We" or "Us") for your registration to participate in the programs offered by Isha Nepal i.e.

  • Inner engineering 7 Day / 4 Day

  • Bhava Spandana

  • Shoonya Intensive

  • Guru Pooja Training

  • Hatha Yoga (Bhuta Shuddhi / Yogasanas / Surya Kriya / Angamardana / Surya Shakti)

You agree that by registering for this Program and accessing this website www.isha.sadhguru.org ("Site"), You have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If You do not agree with all of these Terms, then You are expressly prohibited from using the Site and You must discontinue its use immediately.

You hereby represent and warrant that You are competent to enter into these Terms. You confirm that You have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. We reserve the right to revise the Terms & Conditions at any time and at Our sole discretion. 

User Registration: 

  1. The minimum age limit to participate in the Program is 15 years. But no one under 18 years shall register for the Program on his/her own or provide any personal information in this regard without parental consent.  

  2. To register for the Program, You must provide complete and accurate details/information as asked for in the registration page.  

  3. Your registration for the Program will be complete only after You receive a confirmation email, confirming Your registration and participation.  

  4. The Program registrations are subject to availability

Payment: 

  1. The payment must be made in full before the commencement of the Program. 

  2. We accept the following mode of payments, i.e. e-Wallets / fonepay. 

  3. In the event the prerequisites as mentioned in these Terms & Conditions are not fulfilled, We reserve the right to cancel Your registration and the refund will be done as per the Cancellation and Refund Policy provided below.


Refund, Cancellation, Transfer, Upgrade & Re-registration Policy for the Inner Engineering (4-day/7-day) / Bhava Spandana / Shoonya Intensive / Guru Pooja Training / Hatha Yoga Programs

  • 90% will be refunded if cancellation occurs 14 days or more before the program. 10% is deducted for the Program Processing fee. 

  • 50% will be refunded if cancellation occurs within 13 days or less of program start date

  • No refund can be made once the program starts. Transfer to same program within next 6 months can be availed with 15% Re-registration Fee.

  • Refund processing time is 3-4 weeks.


COVID-19: All guidelines and protocols in accordance with the notification / guidelines / orders issued by the government, local health officials and Us must be adhered to. You may be subject to regular medical checkups upon arrival and during the Program. 

In the event that You develop any COVID-19 symptoms during the Program, You agree to follow the protocols as may be prescribed by Us from time to time. 

Assumption of Risk: 

You acknowledge and agree that Your attendance and participation in the Program is voluntary. You agree to assume the risks associated with attending and participating in the Program to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.  To the extent permissible by law, You agree to indemnify Us against any and all claims, actions, losses and damages arising out of or relating to Your participation in the Program.

Information About You: 

You consent to the collection and use of Your personal information that You provide in connection with the Program, by Us.  We will use Your information to send details and announcements related to the Program to You. Any personal information that You provide to Us online will be handled in accordance with the laws and regulations of Nepal. We are committed to protecting Your personal information and Your right to privacy. Our Privacy Policy governs the privacy policies of Our Site. You agree that We may use any information that We obtain about You in accordance with the provisions of Our Privacy Policy. Please read Our Privacy Policy carefully as it will help You make informed decisions about sharing Your personal information with Us. 

License to Use Items: 

In consideration of the opportunity to participate in the Program, You grant Us an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license throughout the world and in perpetuity to reproduce, edit, publish, distribute or translate, for promotional / educational purposes, all or any part of the following items ("Items"): (a) all still photographs (b) all audio and video recordings in connection with the Program. You consent to the use of the Items pursuant to the foregoing in perpetuity without compensation (unless prohibited by law) or additional consents from You and waive any moral rights You may have in the Items.

Waiver of Liability: 

In consideration of being allowed to register for, and participate in the Program, You hereby warrant and represent that You are at least 15 years of age with parental consent or above 18 years of age and freely waive, release from liability, assume all risks, and covenant not to sue Us  or Our members, employees, board members, agents, or volunteers for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft or actions of any kind that You may hereafter suffer or sustain before, during, or after the Program, unless said expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage or property theft or actions of any kind is caused by the sole, gross negligence of Us. This Waiver of Liability is specifically binding upon Your heirs and assigns and is knowingly given by You.

Force Majeure: 

In the event that it is made impossible or impracticable or illegal for Us to proceed with or carry out this Program in whole or in part, due to any natural calamity, general or specific order of government, fire, casualty, flood, earthquake, war, strike, demonstrations, lockout, pandemic, epidemic, destruction of its facilities, riot, insurrection, materials unavailability, or any other cause(s) beyond Our reasonable control,  and as a result thereof, We may delay, postpone, reschedule, terminate and/or cancel this Program, We will not be liable for any losses or damages incurred by the Participant.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution: 

In the event of any dispute between the parties, the courts of Nepal shall have exclusive jurisdiction on such disputes. If there is any conflict between these terms and rules and/or specific Terms & Conditions appearing on this Site relating to specific material, then the latter shall prevail. These Terms & Conditions and Your use of the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal

Limitations of Liability:

In no event will We or Our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of Our respective officers, volunteers, agents, partners, teachers, trustees, founder and employees be liable to You or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, loss of data, or other damages arising from Your use of the Site, even if We have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, Our liability to You for any cause whatsoever and regardless of the form of the action will at all times be limited to the cost of the Program.  

Indemnification:

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Us harmless, including Our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of Our respective officers, volunteers, agents, partners, teachers, trustees, founder and employees from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of Your participation in the Program and/or breach of these Terms & Conditions. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, We reserve the right, at Your expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which You are required to indemnify Us, and You agree to cooperate, at Your expense, with such claims. We will use reasonable efforts to notify You of any such claim, action, or proceeding which is subject to this indemnification upon becoming aware of it. 

Miscellaneous:

  1.  The Terms & Conditions listed herein are subject to change from time to time. Any modifications to the "Terms & Conditions" will be posted on the Site and shall be notified to You through email. The modified Terms & Conditions shall also be binding upon You. 

  2. The Program is subject to changes as per the directions issued by the Government and the local health authorities from time to time.

  3. You agree that Your failure to adhere to any of the Terms & Conditions set out above or any other provision of these Terms & Conditions shall constitute a breach of these Terms & Conditions on Your part, which may result in the termination of Your access to the Site and/or participation in the Program.

  4. If any provision or part of a provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision or part of the provision is deemed severable from these Terms & Conditions and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. There is no joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship created between You and Us as a result of these Terms & Conditions or use of the Site. 

  5. You agree that these Terms & Conditions will not be construed against Us by virtue of having drafted them.
